WRI India, legally registered as the India Resources Trust, is an independent charity that provides objective information and practical proposals to foster environmentally sound and socially equitable development. Associated with the global World Resources Institute, it conducts research and implements solutions to protect the environment, promote livelihoods, and enhance human well-being, with over 250 researchers across offices in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
