The Women's Centre of York Region supports women and their families to move toward lives of safety, confidence, independence, and well-being through trauma-informed, client-centred, feminist, and anti-oppressive practice. The organization provides counselling and emotional support to women experiencing domestic or other violence, as well as transitional support to those leaving abusive relationships.
