Island Coastal Economic Trust invests in coastal communities across Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and islands from the Salish Sea to Cape Caution to develop a resilient economy. The organization supports economic diversification and innovation through eight impact priorities including food security, tourism, renewable energy, and entrepreneurship, and has invested $67 million in communities since its establishment by the Province of BC in 2006.
