FIELD (Farmworker Institute of Education and Leadership Development)

FIELD is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1978 by Cesar E. Chavez dedicated to strengthening America's agricultural and rural communities through educational and workforce development programs. The organization carries out its mission by providing a continuum of training and education to assist underserved communities in achieving empowerment, self-sufficiency, and a better quality of life, with career pathways in Environmental Conservation, Energy, Education, Entrepreneurship, and Civic Action.
