Brooklyn A

Since 1968, Brooklyn A has provided free legal services for low-income residents of Brooklyn, pursuing a neighborhood-based mission of justice, empowerment, and community development. The organization uses legal and advocacy strategies including community organizing, civil rights litigation, and eviction defense to protect the rights of individuals and families, operating three core programs focused on preserving affordable housing, consumer and economic advocacy, and community and economic development.
